I already saw this on Tumblr and went to read forever (for you) afterwards. Now I also get the chance to tell you how much I enjoyed it! I know I could've left a comment on the actual entry, but whatever.
There's something simply beautiful about the writing style. And somehow it reminded me of Last Samurai; I had the scenery from the movie in mind when I read. That may or may not be weird, but I think me being weird is something we have established a long time ago anyway. So yeah. I like historical settings.
