Exactly. Even though Mimi is more feminine (not girly, but feminine) and a bit spazzy, he is masculine too and clearly a man x) Just because he's a very stereotypical gay man doesn't mean he's Kyuhyun's girlfriend. And well, "asking who's the man and who's the woman in a gay relationship is like going to a Chinese restaurant and asking which chopstick is the fork". So I think that it sort of sucks that in some fics people are so set on the two roles even when I think that most gay relationships with sex go both ways :D I know I would prefer to be in a relationship where I can just be myself, not "the guy" or "the girl" of the relationship. I like to take people on dates but I also like to be the one taken out. Sometimes her sex scenes are sort of... More like a scene out of some smutty novel for women and are pretty prose-like. It is! XD Although I've only read her R/NC-17 fics, so maybe the others are different XD Even good authors make mistakes, and some people just get stuck in their style of writing x) I sometimes feel like I'm that way too *laughs*

True, there aren't many good ones :/ That happens a lot, with many Zhou Mi pairings, when he is made into this... super dominant, almost cruel person in the relationship e__e I think it's just how people fantasize him to be, you know. Because he is so sweet and smiley irl, so maybe a lot of people like to imagine that he is the total opposite in bed, all "bitch, on your knees and suck like you mean it"? XD I've spent too much time analyzing this too XD I think it occurs with some people, especially with smut fics. Ryeowook who's sweet and innocent is made into a total whore with a dirty mouth, Sungmin who's the same is either slutty or a total beast in the sack, Zhou Mi is dominant and rough, Kyuhyun who doesn't listen to people and is "rude" is really submissive and a whore for cock (or like, you know. He's like a kicked puppy in bed and bends backwards for the top's will even when they are making him eat his own come). Or then he is the game nerd with bad skin turned into a sex god. Sometimes I hate the fact that I read so much into people and try to analyze them XD And I totally trailed off the topic. But yes, you should've XD I don't ship them that much, but I could get into it if there was more around :( HanChul and SiHan shippers are too loyal to their OTP.

Same for me! That's actually how my two friends who got me into SJ/k-pop explained it to me. "They are the OTPs, you know, the "true" and "real" pairings everyone ships" and I sort of understood it as "you are supposed to ship these" so that's why I started shipping KyuMin, EunHae, HanChul and KangTeuk in the first place. Then I grew a mind of my own and now I don't really ship any of those :D

... I think HanChul is nice, to some extent, but I'm sort of turning into a SiHan shipper too :( But I think KyuMin, EunHae and KangTeuk are just so... forced, you know? All the touching and I love yous and all. And excluding hardcore KangTeuk shippers, who seem very rare, those fans are mostly delusional, annoying, bash other ships, think their pairing is the OTP of all OTPs and will cut your throat for saying they aren't actually in love. I mainly started disliking EunHae because of the delusional, batshit fans :/ EunHae is so clearly fanservice but the fans are idiotic enough to go all "NO THEY ARE REAL GTFO HYUKKIE SAID HE LOVES HAE THEY ARE MARRIEDD!!!121" and can't see past their biasedness. For example, when Eunhyuk and Donghae wear the same coloured clothes within two weeks = "omo Hyukie and Hae are so dating ^^" like er, what? Or when they are in a picture together "omg so married" or when Donghae looks a bit sad in a picture "he must be missing Hyukkie!!1". No. And I won't even start with KyuMin because no one needs to hear that XD But it annoyed me that the shippers started talking of "KyuMin's honeymoon" when they were working somewhere together or something :|| /end of rant again XD

you did x) I'm starting to like SiHan more too, especially after watching these old SJM shows with Geng still in them. They are just so ;A; Yeah, they're like bffs, but nothing more. So the fans annoy me with their delusional, shippy bullshit. I feel your pain, since yeah, I could like EunHae and maybe even KyuMin, just for fun, if it wasn't for their shippers. But they are so true! XD And the biggest thing that annoys me is pictures where people stand next to each other Not even touching, talking to each other or standing close to each other. Just next to each other in the same picture. I saw this one picture of Kyuhyun at an airport, and Sungmin was standing behind him, maybe three or more feet away. I would've wanted to reblog the picture because Kyuhyun looked so good but all the comments on it were like "omg, KyuMin", "oh, I deem this as a KyuMin moment ^^" and I just thought that I will not reblog a post with forcibly searched "troo luv~" when it's just a normal picture of two people at an air port. I know I tag pictures of Zhou Mi and Kyuhyun as qmi even if it isn't particularly skinshippy picture, but I just tag them because they are in the picture. If it was kyuhyun and Siwon, I'd tag it WonKyu. But I hate it when people see a picture of them, not even interacting, and suddenly it's a magical little KyuMin moment because Sungmin is ttly looking at Kyuhyun even though his gaze are nowhere near Kyuhyun.

It's pretty much something I've seen around XD There are! Even though I personally like Super Generation pairings like the plague, if you ship them with girls, there are nine pretty ones right there. Plus Kyuhyun is often shipped with Victoria from f(x) even though I have no idea why. I think some people ship her with Zhou Mi too, but those two actually do hang out with each other so I can sort of see it. Even though I'd never ship Mimi with any girl, for obvious reasons. Okay, guilty as charged, I read some fics where Kyuhyun and Mimi are both girls, if it's well written but it's a different thing. In them, it's not because you think het is the way to go, but because you want to be a creative author. Or something. But otherwise, no genderswitch.

Exactly! In the SJM shows the two are always so ...I dunno, close? They seem really close and although I know Siwon's a huggy and touchy person, it's mostly directed at Geng. So definitely bffs! I don't think I'd like Kyumin even without the shippers XD It's such a ...forced pairing for me, kind of, and I can't see how it'd work as anything else but the two of them being best buddies x) And yes I know what you mean! Sometimes even Qmi pictures have comments that make me go all "...not true" since if they're just standing there it's not like they're proclaiming their true love to everyone XD But Kyumin people are so much worse with it! They think it's a SIGN FROM GOD to have them in the same picture or same interview or whatever. *eyeroll*

I don't like any of those Super Generation pairings either (I can stand some as side-pairings if they're not focused on) but seriously, if you want het THERE IS HET FOR YOU. No need to go changing them into girls. haha I did read some fics where Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi were both girls, yes XD Even liked some but it always still felt a bit weird. But genderswitch CAN work if the plot needs it but 99% of the time authors use it just to write their precious kyumin as a het pairing.

Yeah, they are awfully huggy and close and all that XD I think it's adorable 8D I'm not sure, but I think that I could at least tolerate it as a side pairing or something, but now I just loathe it XD I see it as bromance, where they are really good friends and they trust each other, but I definitely don't see any romance there, even in the times when Kyuhyun puts an arm around Sungmin's shoulder or they hold hands. They've slept in the same bed and been roommates and friends since the start so I guess you must grow on each other in those circumstances? But romance, no. Yeah, even with Qmi, and I see a lot of pictures where they are touchy and even then I fully think that it's something not romantic or anything, but especially with Zhou Mi who is touchy, he is almost always touching someone. It is adorable! I love huggy people XD And hugs in general. Even if it's people I don't pair together hugging XD I absolutely love the friendship between Kyuhyun and Sungmin and have nothing against that in fics but ...no romance. No. I'm stubborn, maybe, but no XD Zhou Mi is really a touchy person too (almost as touchy as Siwon XD) and that's one reason I love him so much. AND I love how Kyuhyun is so used to it now. Like in the one gif where Mi just grabs Kyu's hand and Kyu doesn't even bat an eyelash! And yes Qmi is above everything in realness XD No one can fake the bond between them.

Touchy!Mimi is one of my favourite things on earth 8D It's so nice how he touches Kyuhyun and Siwon and Eunhyuk and Sungmin and pretty much everyone. Oh, I know that one! Usually Kyuhyun seems so awkward with touching, like in Variety Big Brother where the host hugged him and Kyuhyun just bent forwards a bit and tried to keep touching at minimum. As an awkward hugger myself I can read a lot from touches and how people react to them, so I'd say Kyuhyun is a bit reserved with who he touches, so I think it's really nice that he's so relaxed around Zhou Mi x) Qmi is just such a beautiful fairytale romance XD

Bromance hugs can be the best! I love their friendships, pretty much all of them, so if it's just a frienship fic I can read anyone in it x) But as romance I'm horribly picky XD Oh I know what you mean. Kyuhyun seems like one of those persons who get natural with touching only when they kind of allowed the other person to get into their personal bubble x) So not strangers or anything. Did you ever notice Kyuhyun has a tendency to put his hand between his legs when he sits? x) As I said, I'm still watching SS1 and they're sitting while singing now and Kyuhyun again looks like he's cupping his crotch. I noticed the same in the Boys In the City 3 DVD. And in ...like a million other places XD Kyuhyun wants to protect his goodies! AND WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT AGAIN!?

It's hard to say anyone's real opinion on the whole 13/15 thing since it's not like we can see in their minds and they won't talk about it openly. But seriously, SJ hasn't been 13 in SO LONG now. And they never will be again. Unless someone else leaves and Zhou Mi and Henry join in which makes them 13 again but not the original 13. So those people should move the fuck on.

I agree with you. He was getting so sick under SME, he was treated so badly, and if he came back, SME would treat him even worse. I was sort of introduced to them as "13+2", I guess. So at first, I kept calling them "Henry and Zhou Mi of SJM" but once I got to know them better, I started thinking of them as members of SJ. I don't think I could have been an only, even if my friend had pushed it on me. It's not in me to hate people for petty reasons like that. And Henry stole my heart almost immediately anyways, so XD Some pairings just don't go down with me either. Idk, I think I could read Kyumin as a side pairing or something, just generally tolerate them even though I just ship their bromance a ton, but the shippers have made me loathe the pairing so much I will read nothing that has KyuMin even as a hinted pairing. And all Kyuhyun and Mimi pairings that aren't Qmi, Kyury or Mimin are also kind of no no.

That's annoying too. My brother always says that he isn't a homophobe, he's a homofanphobe since he hates it when some people think gays are miles above heteros. I have some friends like that, actually, who think a romance is beautiful if it's two men in it but otherwise no and I'm always all "o___O WHY" since I think love is beautiful no matter what. Gosh I think I'm stuck in the same way to write too and I probably write the same crappy thing over and over again but... I don't know any better :(

I miss him too, especially after I watched EHB and some SJ Full House :( He is such a wonderful person and he fit SJ so well, I hate it that SME had to go and ruin it for everyone. Yeah, Kibum is a mystery since no one knows if he really will be a part of their 5th album. I don't know. I really like him but I'm sort of starting to get annoyed. He's been gone so fucking long, if he doesn't come back this year, when? I do love him, but I'm losing my faith in him :(

Oh yes! Actually, especially in this whole Japan fandom I was in actively, I saw so many of these annoying teenage girls who were all "boylove <33 ^^" and somehow they were, you know. Homo fans. They are the people who read any manga, if it had BL in it, no matter how shitty it was and would be all "awwww boy love is so cute ^_^" and tbh, I find it infuriating. Hey, I'm not straight and I write slash but I still find it annoying how some people think homosexuality is "cute" and somehow better than heterosexuality. And with most of those girls, they just think boys kissing is sooo cute but if it's girls doing the same, it's not. I even once at this forum saw some girl commenting "I don't understand why old people are gay, it's gross :( They should just be gay when they're young and cute and then become straight when they are older :P" and it was one of those moments when I really wanted to break someone's nose. Those kind of people who just fangirl cute boys kissing but gag when there's two older men or women holding hands or something are repulsive and aren't supporting gay rights in any way. Sexuality is not a trend, it doesn't make you a better person. It's just a part of who you are, and it angers me that some people don't see that. There are good straight people, there are bad gay people. Your sexuality doesn't make you the person you are. If you say "love is love", then stand behind that statement and don't just say "boys kissing is cute", but "all love, man/woman, woman/woman, man/man, whatever you identify as, is beautiful". Argh, this subject just makes me so angry XD But you don't, you have a very verifying style! You most definitely don't write the same thing over and over again, trust me :)

Oh exactly like that! These homofans are so annoying and they make everyone look back. Like, if I say I read a gay romance novel people instantly assume I'm one of those annoying teens who read/like it because it's in fashion or something. While that's not it.
