Okay so the sucky part first: My car broke down today. I tried to go to the lab in the morning and it wouldn't start. Not at all. So I had to call to the repair-shop and they now towed it and I'll get it back tomorrow if I'm lucky and it's not a massive operation. I'm praying it's not anything huge and that it won't cost a kidney or two.

Second sucky part is that yesterday I noticed that neither me nor [livejournal.com profile] pi_ankh have been receiving the living-allowance that belongs to our student grant. Basically the government should pay 80% of our rent since we're students but for some reason they didn't for the past three months. Meaning, I'm lacking around 400€ that I should have right now. We MIGHT get some of it back but it's not certain. Hoping for the best, again.

Why do the sucky things always relate to money one way or another?

Anyways, since I was stuck home I took a short 1½ hour nap *laughs* And i feel quite much better now. Especially after sleep and some Super Smash Bros. Melee and chatting with friends. So it's not a totally wasted day I guess XD I wanted to make a huge picture post with random favorite pictures (like the pairing picture post and the Shinya post I made) but now I don't think I feel like it anymore.

Corey Taylor's twitter made me smile again, too.

And I posted the last chappie of the ongoing story.

And I want to write. But I can't. So I'll make icons *laughs* And eat Christmas ham.

And this is getting kind of short-worded XD OH AND I'M GOING TO ADVERTISE!

Sorry about your car. For a moment I was like wait take car to the lab what? xD Then I realize you mean school. Ugh probably a dead battery (let's hope!), and I hate it when cars break down like that when you need them!

Government fail. Sounded like mine when I tried to get school books >>.

Melee....I want to play (If I had a wii). I have to go play Star Wars: Unleashed 2 for the 360 (didn't want it for the ps3 this time xD). Do you play brawl?

They told me that it'd be fixed tomorrow so it's at least pretty soon! And I don't need to wait for weeks. So something good in this *laughs*

Exactly. And I HATE it that the unemployed and sick and whatever are all on the same line but STUDENTS are always discriminated against :/

My brother has a Wii and Brawl, so we play it when I visit him :) I only have GameCube so I have to go for Melee XD

heh he thanked people for wishing him happy birthday but pointed out that his birthday isn't November 8th but December 8th x)

I'm going to, yeah, but those already finished ones don't include much of them :)

What was wrong with it? Yay! Not waiting weeks. I had to wait I think a couple of days for mine! First time was wrong with it we thought battery, then alternator, and when really the light in my trunk wouldn't go off, and it drained my battery LOL. ;__; what a waste of time and money.

Here it was just get in a line and wait for your turn to buy your books xD. Well that's how it was here. Had to wait in line for two hours one time during fall classes. It wasn't so bad though. Finding out "Oh were sorry your scholarship for vocational rehab has not hit yet, so will that be cash or credit?" >>

Ooooooo There was a gamecube at GameStop for $25 xD. I should buy it >>.

LOL! OH! xD wow.

I don't know yet XD They only check it tomorrow at the repair-shop and then call me. But they GUESSED it'd only take tomorrow and not longer XD

Oh gosh that sucks! D: Waiting or so long and then being turned back.

Meeeergh sucks with the car :( And the money!!! You're right, the most annoying troubles are always money-related. Bah. *tries to forget about the fact she still has some insurance crap to do* >_> (On an unrelated note... WOW, the government pays 80% of your rent because you're students??? That's pretty awesome. o_O;)

Nah, government doesn't pay it BECAUSE we're students. EVERYONE who doesn't have the money to pay for their own living gets 80% of their rent from the government. Including unemployed people, sick people, students and so on. Except that students only get the money from the official school months, meaning eight months a year, while everyone else gets it throughout the year XD If you're unemployed you get twice the money you get as a student and it doesn't exactly encourage people to study x)

&hearts, it is! I was so madly in love with him when I watched the first movie, I SO adored his character and the way he was presented ♥ aaah, good old Saw I. Still is the best movie out of god-knows-how-many.

and about your living-allowance.. aw! it sucks bad. I hope you can get it fixed. but btw, the brighter side is your government care enough to give you some money. Not gonna happen here in Indonesia >:( well, not anytime soon.

I don't know yet, unfortunately :/ They will call me today when they're done with it. And I'm anxiously watching my phone all the time and waiting for it to ring.

heh in Finland everyone is entitled to be taken care by the government. Students are actually in a pretty bad situation in comparison since every single unemployed drunk is entitled to more money than students who work their asses off XD But I know that compared to other countries we're lucky!

They're idiots XD I mean, I can survive with the money they give me, no problem! But it's a matter of principle and I don't think unemployed persons deserve more money than students x) They counted the amount of money a person needs in a month to live "decently and not in poverty" and students are actually below that XD It's not poverty as in REAL poverty, gosh no. But that's how they put it XD
