This entry should be titled "my friends and family are awesome how did I ever deserve them?" since oh my.

First of all mom and dad visited me today! Dad made me these flower-systems and helped me fix some things I'm too dumb or too short to do (aka attaching stuff to the ceiling or fixing the too low clothes hanger thing or so) and mom washed my dishes and brought me cake and we had a really nice long chat ;-; I love them and I already miss them. Now if only my brother would drag his butt to visit me I'd be super happy!

Also, mhn77 was in Korea for ...three weeks? And she was kind enough to take along a shopping list from me (and from bling_asaur) and now last almost two weeks ago (I'm so slow...) I got a huge package from her! Not only the stuff I'd bought and paid for her, but also so much nice stuff she just got me because she's amazing and awesome and too good to be true ;__;♥♥♥

Also, seinen_no and oemmelchen are coming to visit me in less than a week! \o/ But more of that after the visit~

So, moved all of rabenhorst to dreamwidth just to have a backup of it too! (It has the same name, so if you're interested it's at rabenhorst.) If any of you make dw accounts or something, let me know, yes? :) I'm still not moving completely but I think I can work two sites simultaneously.

And I wanted to throw in a few links since people keep asking me what the whole deal with livejournal is. You can find lots of good, thorough entries about it, and for example this and this are very helpful.

Other than that... I don't really have anything interesting to say right now. We're going through a presidential election in Finland right now and I just wish they'd stop the whole circus already. Nnnrggh they're all such idiots. I don't even know who I'm supposed to vote D: BAH.

Thesis is progressing! I have exactly ten days to finish it right now! \o/ And it's like. Maybe 2/3 done. Maybe. Keep your fingers crossed! :D

Tomorrow I will have to teach a mathematics lesson in highschool, logic and number theory. More specifically, we are looking for the greatest common divisors and use the Eukleides algorithm. I went through the material several times, solved the problems I will make the students do, made sure I know how to explain things and prepared things in general. And now? Now I am drowning in panic. Sheer terror. Seriously, I am so nervous it's hard to breathe.

It's not the students I'm afraid of. It's not the topic, either, I used to love logic and number theory in high school. It's the instructor. She is incredibly strict to the point of being mean, and I am not the best person to receive criticism. Thankfully I only have to teach three lessons and then I'm done with the practical teaching! So I need to just try get through the lessons and the following two weeks and it'll be alright. I'm stressing way too much *laughs*

Speaking of Korean pop, I am having an identity crisis XD I've never ever had such a celebrity crush before as I do now. I mean, granted, there are tons of hot men around and I could write a list of top100 gorgeous men to drool after anytime (remember when we started that, pi_ankh? we should do it again XD) but I've never before been so fixated on a single person before. *laughs* I feel like such a perv! Seriously though, Kyuhyun has edible thighs and a butt to die for. Not to mention his hands and fingers. Or his lips and neck, his eyes, his lips and the awkward and the cute.And the best thing ever is how he is so cuddly with his boyfriend ♥ Man the two are adorable! And I am addicted. Should I stop? 8D (and the worst thing is that I think he looks damn good even in his green pepper outfit. am I sick? 8D) Don't even get me started on how precious Mimi is.

...okay maybe I need food. And sleep. And stop obsessing over bbQ for a while.


AND FUCK the Russians play dirty! Seriously, watching the Czech Republic vs. Russia game makes me
a) pissed off since gdi ice hockey is NOT usually a game where you see blood and guts
b) scared since tomorrow it's going to be Finland against Russia
c) nauseated since although hockey is all about contact it's not about killing your opponents.

Not cool, Russia. Not cool.
