So. Back from Paris! 8D I wanted to write a long and coherent concert review but knowing me it will never ever happen. I barely managed to catch up on sleep, I'm completely exhausted still. After we flew from Paris to Turku, I still had a nine-hour drive ahead of me to get back home so I was traveling basically from 7 am to 3 am \o/ Plus I obviously had to be very awake during the drive. Anyways, it went better than I expected!

And Paris? Awesome. This entry will be solely about the concert on Friday, though, I don't have the energy (nor the time) right now to go through the rest of the photos. I'll make another entry about the rest of the weekend once I'm done looking through the pictures ;) The pictures for this were easy since I only had my old crappy camera with me, thus not many pictures XD

I don't know if anyone is interested but at least I documented the concert (somewhat *laughs*) for myself so I might remember it better. I swear my memory is so bad XD

I stole it from some SHINee fansite so if it's wrong, not my fault! Looks pretty good to me, though, or then I am demented enough to remember things I never saw in reality XD Thus whatever I'll write about the concert isn't going to be coherent either, it's gonna be just a jumble of thoughts along with (crappy) pictures! \o/

First of all, the concert was over three and a half hours long. Seriously, after the first two hours I was already exhausted and after the third hour I was dying but it was all so worth it, so so worth it! And somehow new energy kept on coming up XD Thankfully the girls in front of me were like 120 cm tall so even when I had to sit down for a while I could see the stage very clearly. So basically I didn't miss anything even if I took a breather XD

Before the concert we dropped plastictear off at the hall since he had the soundcheck tickets and needed to be there earlier. pi_ankh and I refused to stand in line for hours though and we had checked the map and noticed there is a museum of natural science right next to it so we headed there. The "museum" was crap. Nothing like we expected. Buuut we had fun nevertheless, flailing around a French library and watching fishes. It was raining SO MUCH the rain basically went horizontally and by the time it stopped and we were lining up, we looked horrible! \o/



Once they opened the doors we got in surprisingly quickly though. Besides we had numbered seats so who cares if we wait in the line or if we sit inside for fifteen minutes longer? As long as we're there when the concert starts XD And we were so all was good!





I took a couple of pictures before the show started, just for the feel of it. The hall was pretty small, compared, and we had really awesome seats since we could see pretty much everything very clearly. The pictures don't do it any justice since those look like we were much further than we were. But I repeat, my camera is old. It's fifteen years old and I'm not even lying, so it's one of the first generations of pocket cameras and one can't expect miracles from it XD

They had this video in the beginning which was quite much fun. They had videos in between anyway but the rest were just random talking XD This one was fun and now I wish I had recorded it or something *laughs*



So first up was f(x). Here's a couple of random pictures. (I'm not even going to try go chronologically, I go group by group.)









I admit I was never a fan before and I thought their songs were kind of annoying, at least the ones I'd heard before (which wasn't that many, admittedly). But live, they were so energetic and fun to watch and I was enjoying myself thoroughly! Seriously, when they began I almost cried since that was when I realized it was really happening and I wasn't just imagining things XD They're not even my favorites and got me into tears so imagine what would've happened if someone else had begun the show? *laughs* I still think some of their songs are kind of annoying but I now appreciate many of them XD

And it was fun to watch how Amber didn't need to do anything to drive the whole crowd crazy. She just stepped up or something and people went nuts! It's kind of obvious she's the most popular one there, I would say she was one of the persons who got the most cheers during the whole concert, all groups counted x) Not that I'm complaining, I do like her! I just thought it was a fun observation.

Next was SHINee! Again random pictures, expect no coherency.















I wasn't a huge fan of SHINee either before, I thought they are cute and have a few good songs but oh gosh seeing them live? I absolutely loved like 90% of what they performed! Again it was so energetic, they had so much fun, the songs are catchy and easy to sing along and and and I don't know XD THEY'RE ADORABLE! At one point Key suddenly appeared in the staircase to our left and he was so close I could've launched myself at him but we didn't realize it soon enough to even take a picture *laughs* I think the whole audience was completely dumbfounded, we didn't expect that! Here's a very artistic picture of it. He is in there. Somewhere.



There was also an opera solo and even though I'm not a big fan of opera it sounded awesome, the guy can use his voice alright. And and I would list my favorite songs they played but I DO NOT KNOW THEIR NAMES. I remember like Ring Ding Dong's name (and it was awesome oh those hip movements XDDD) but otherwise they're just "this song where they do this and that" and yes. They played so many good ones! And they had this super cool laser show too, green laser beams shooting from their fingers while they were lifted into the air and floating close to the ceiling and gosh.

Also, I could swear the audience was full of SHINee fans since they got the loudest chants before the whole thing started XD AND DID I MENTION THEY WERE SUPER ADORABLE!?

I have like zero good pictures of SNSD ;_____; If someone is interested I can upload them, but I wouldn't expect much. Maybe some are decent but none are spectacular. And right now I felt like only this was worth posting;



They played all my favorites too! From Gee to Run Devil Run and all these catchy happy songs I don't remember the names of 8D I was staring at their legs, envious, for most of the time since gosh they are so loooooong. Also the girls were adorable when they introduced themselves. I was bothered by the fact that some got much louder cheers than others but I suppose that's how it goes. Plus it annoys me I still can't tell them apart! D: I suck but I only recognize like two of them. They were really good though, even if I don't have much to say about them. All their songs were just kind of... similar? XD It was all good but there weren't any highlights for me.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnngh I suppose this fits here since it's kind of both SNSD and Super Junior. Seohyun (no, didn't recognize her, googled it afterwards XD) and Kyuhyun sang a duet and it was such a pretty ballad and omg Kyuhyun's voice sounds even better live than it sounds recorded! *________* I WAS DYING. Even if I was secretly hoping the girl would spontaneously combust and Zhou Mi would materialize in her place to sing the duet with Kyuhyun. And I need to complain, WHY DID SHE COME TO OUR END OF THE STAGE AND KYUHYUN WENT TO THE OTHER END!? I wanted a closer look of the Kyu!thighs ;__; haha but really, she sang well and I liked it. I was hoping they'd switch places and she'd go to the other end and he'd come to our end at this point but they just stood there in the middle of the stage ;______; and shut up I wasn't still imagining a QMi duet I was not I swear



This wasn't the first appearance of Kyuhyun though since the first time he was on stage was with Super Junior KRY. And I totally hyperventilated and almost died right there. I was shaking and nearly crying and it was so embarrassing but thankfully no one noticed XD




Wookie was so precious and perfect and his hair is lovely and he seemed to be in such a good mood he was smiling so much and he is absolutely adorable when he smiles! ♥ AND HIS VOICE. It was so strong and so nice and I have no words really I just love him ok. I even bought a Wook fan! (Which caused him to have a new nickname, nowadays he is known as Lerppu [=floppy], lovingly of course.)


Kyuhyunnnn~ ;_________;♥ Did I already mention how absolutely amazingly gorgeous his voice is? I am deeply in love. Except he's had better hairdos before but I'm not complaining, I like that one too XD It just sometimes makes him look like he's approximately five years old.


Yesung's voice surprised me too. I KNEW he has a strong voice but gosh, it really is strong. Respect, man, respect. He sounded amazing.

AND THEN. I DID NOT EXPECT LADY HEEHEE AND SINGLE LADIES I DID NOT. I thought they only do that for their own Super Shows and not for the SMTown lives but hell I am so not complaining XD The whole crowd went absolutely ballistic as soon as the first notes of Poker Face started and I swear Heechul's legs look so much better live and already on pictures they look good *laughs* The pictures aren't amazing but I tried, daidetre, and I was thinking of you!







Heechul is awesome. Period. AND THE SINGLE LADIES. I was spazzing over the mere realization I'd see it live and I'm surprised I managed to even take pictures *laughs* I was really surprised that Donghae wasn't one of them though, but it was Leeteuk. He made such a beautiful woman though, I am so not complaining, and his hip movements were absolutely epic XD I suppose Donghae has enough to do with the filming of the new drama and thus they picked someone else? I still think the star of the performance is Eunhyuk.

Then was the duet I already covered earlier. Then they sang Super Girl! And I almost cried since it is a song where Zhou Mi is supposed to be damnit, if he's not there it's no Super Girl, it's a lame substitute for it ;___; I had a really emotional moment there but I did enjoy the show the boys put up, seriously, they were good. It's not their fault I was going overly emotional over Mimi missing XD After the song they stopped and lights went on and they did the introductions (just like all other groups before) and I got some pictures! \o/

Kyuhyun was the most adorable thing ever. He started introducing himself in French! He managed to get to "Hi I'm Kyuhyun. I will speak French!" and then he stuttered in his words, stopped, made this cute little harrumph and dug out a slip of paper *laughs* He had written it down just in case and then he squinted at the paper, apparently going on with "Do you want a drink with me?" XD (one translation here) He was absolutely adorable and managed to get through it nearly poker-faced XD After he was done, celebrating his success was in order;



A few of the others spoke French too and all the Korean was translated into French but it didn't do me much good since I don't speak a single word of French! \o/ Granted, I realize we were in France but most of the audience was from other countries so I think it would've been quite fair to translate into English instead. But yeah, the French. At least in the end Leeteuk acknowledged other fans too and kept on repeating names of different European countries XD


Eunhyuk had a paper too, with what he wanted to say in French XD He didn't even try without it though, he dug it out instantly when it was his turn. And Heechul was laughing at him XD


D'awwwwww~ Seriously, the man is climbing my bias list like a small nimble monkey.





Then they went on with No Other. NO OTHER ;___;♥ I went absolutely crazy with happiness right then and I think I shed a few tears. I got a few pictures tooooo~ And Donghae gave a rose to a fan during the performance (my picture of that sucks balls tho).




Look at those precious idiots!♥ Their expressions, seriously XD AND KYU!THIGHS. I swear his thighs and his butt look even better live than they do in pictures and it's A LOT. I think I was staring at his lower body for like one song straight since it was hypnotizing 8D AND SUNGMIN HAS SUCH A GORGEOUS BOTTOM TOO. It deserves a mention XD

Eunhyuk came to our side a lot, and I can't say I'm complaining. He looks absolutely stunning. I never realized just how good he looks before this and I don't know how. He was hypnotizing XD I even forgot to look at Kyuhyun at times *laughs* (nah, I wasn't that bad, I did look at them all XD). BUT HYUKKKK~ ;_____;♥


I love Siwon's grin and Donghae's expression XD SIWON ALSO TOOK HIS SHIRT OFF. I have no pictures of it since I stopped taking pictures after No Other but he does look absolutely edible without a shirt on 8D pi_ankh was dying. I remember how she was clinging onto me, trying to stay upright as her whole world exploded right then XD


KYUHYUN ;___; KYU!THIGHS. I MISS YOU.

Alright then the pictures stop since I stopped taking them. I thought they were even worse than they really are and figured I should enjoy the show and not waste time in bad pictures. Now that I saw the pics, I could've taken a few more but well XD I enjoyed the show so who cares. Hmmm, then there was Miracle and Dancing out and the whole audience was jumping like mad. It was fun to watch too, how whenever Super Junior was on, the audience went all "BOUNCE TO YOU BOUNCE TO YOU 8DDD" ...including me. I don't know if I ever jumped that much *laughs*

Then there was Sorry Sorry and Don't Don and Bonamana and I was in heaven! Except during Don't Don I cried ;___; I was so looking forward to the break in the middle with the rockband and Henry and Zhou Mi and when Heechul did Mimi's vocals I was all ;_________________________; Not that it wasn't good, it was. Heechul was absolutely amazing. BUT MIMIIIIII~ He was the one I wanted to see there so badly. But it was good it really was. I wanted Kyuhyun to do his power slide in Bonamana (at 03:30, I could watch the vid a million times in a row just to stare at Kyubb actually I just did and this version is handy for that XD) but then again the stage was kind of rough so he would've facegrounded and that would've been painful (if hilarious too XD).

Mm other random things. There was some quite obvious EunHae fanservice (I thought of you, imxaxreader XD) and at one point it looked like Eunhyuk would just straight out kiss Donghae, who just laughed and pulled away XD But Eunhyuk had his hand kind of cupping Hae's jaw. Leeteuk went to a fan and took his/her camera/phone or something and took a picture of himself grinning!

Super Junior really was full of energy and the audience was screaming and jumping and gosh it was so awesome. And they seemed to enjoy themselves too! HIPTHRUSTS! Plus silly grins and weird dances and all. At one point Kyuhyun did some really weird disco dance (his usual finger-dance-thingy AND some weird girly gee-type hipmovements) and looked really smug and happy with himself XD It was so adorable! I was all smiles.

haha and both plastictear and pi_ankh got some videos too and we had fun watching them since one can hear our weird off-key singing *laughs* In one of pi_ankh's videos one can hear my very high-pitched, very embarrassing squeak when Kyuhyun did something (I think it was when he moved up to the front of the stage to dance). It was also fun to watch how Kyuhyun had to squirm underneath the stage to get to the other side secretly x) The audience was supposed to be focused on the other guys then so he could sneak off but of course it was more fun to watch him bend over and try to get under the stage XD

I think I've forgotten like half of what happened ;______; Why is my memory so bad!? I blame Kyu!thighs.

There are no pictures of TVXQ and I didn't really even know them beforehand but now I think I'll have to try out more of their music since live it sounded really good. I'll find some and then see what I think of it now that I'm not super hyped up XD But they were really, really good too. Even if I felt sick during some of their songs from dehydration *laughs*

It all ended when everyone sang Sorry Sorry together, kinda, as this weird "sing if you remember" version and they were running around the stage happily. I have no pictures, again, but there are a few here since plastictear was kind enough to upload some to his tumblr :)

Soooooo~ I think I'll end it here before I fall asleep on my keyboard. I hope it's at least semi-coherent *laughs* The main points are that I had tons of fun and it was money well spent! Even if I still kinda feel like crying for the lack of Zhou Mi, I am really happy that I got the chance to go there and it was really awesome.
