I know a lot of people find them over the top and annoying, but a great resource for me, personally, to find out about new stuff and keep updated, is through Simon and Martina on Eat Your Kimchi. You heard of them?
They're pretty huge on kpop nowadays, but I've known then from way back when, when they did vids on Korea in general, not primarily kpop.
Anyway, I've heard a lot of great songs from their vids, both old and new and from other styles than kpop cos they do indie playlists, and random playlists, too.
I highly rec them if you don't already know and hate :D them. At least I rec to check them out if you wanna stay somewhat current without having to research a lot yourself. And you can ignore them if their humor annoys you :D It's still nice music recs^^
